About the Client
Little Island is an award-winning independent Irish publisher of books for children and young adults, backing gifted Irish writers and illustrators from breakthrough debuts to household names like Eoin Colfer and Siobhán Parkinson. We built their online store to sell direct to readers, parents, teachers and booksellers alike.
The Challenge
Little Island’s audience spans very different needs — parents browsing gifts by age group, teachers sourcing classroom books, and booksellers or rights buyers needing trade information — all while keeping the warmth and creativity of children’s publishing intact.
The Solution
We built a Shopify store with age- and category-based browsing (picture books, myths and history, teen and YA), plus dedicated sections for booksellers, teachers and submissions, so every visitor type has a clear path to what they need.
